Ivory Coast vs Egypt

Ivory Coast will take on Egypt in their friendly, late this afternoon in Abu Dhabi in prelude to the 2013 Africa Nation’s cup. Lamouchi and his men have the opportunity not only to make final adjustments before the competition, but also Drogba and co. will try to avenge the insult they underwent in the 2008 semi-finals defeat to the Pharaohs. The test will serve an important purpose as the Elephants share Group D with Tunisia and Algeria, two other North African countries whose style of play are close to the Egyptians. The Ivorians will make their debut in the continental tournament January 22nd against Togo.
