Austria 0 – Ivory Coast 3

Ivory Coast 3-0 Victory over Austria in their friendly served as a good test for Lamouchi’s men ahead of the 2013 Nations Cup. Veteran Didier Drogba found the net after Didier Ya Konan opened scoring – Drogba scoring just two minutes after his entrance, to put his side two goals ahead. The former Chelsea striker’s performance is encouraging as he’s likely to lack competition after the end of the season in China. In the absence of Arsenal’s Gervinho who is undergoing medical care, the Russian based player Lancina Traore sealed the Elephants win, scoring the third goal. The twenty-two year old man recorded his first goal since he started playing for Ivory Coast.
